好友移城‧沖繩

朋友問我，去過那麼多地方，我最喜歡哪裡，我的答案是日本。

看《好友移城》，不明白廖碧兒和鄭融怎麼會是「好友」，只知道沖繩這個日本最西，離香港只需兩個半小時機程的地方，實在令人嚮往，很想置身陽光海灘，看看藍天白雲，感受那份純樸。

菜餚譯名

曾經收過一個電郵，列出了不同菜餚在大陸的有趣譯名，奧運舉行在即，這方面也需要改善一下。

As it readies for an influx of visitors for the August Games, the capital has offered restaurants an official English translation of local dishes whose exotic names and alarming translations can leave foreign visitors frustrated and famished.

English-speaking visitors will be able to order "beef and ox tripe in chili sauce" rather than "husband and wife's lung slice."

首都北京為迎接因八月奧運會而來的大批訪客，為食肆提供了地道菜餚的官方英文譯名，以免奇怪的譯名令外籍遊客一頭霧水，讓他們挨餓。

夫妻肺片不再直譯成"husband and wife's lung slice"，英語遊客可以點“beef and ox tripe in chili sauce”(泡在辣椒油裡的牛肉、牛肚)。
